Samhain agus Science, celebrated its 6th year in 2023. It’s an annual science festival which brings together researchers from DIAS and around the world for a series of free events that explore the ‘dark’ side of science and Celtic heritage.
We’re honoured to have had six years of fascinating speakers and engaged audiences. Thank you all.
The festival aims to make the scientific questions of our time and Celtic history relevant, accessible, and fun to a general audience who might not normally be familiar with these topics.
Our 2020-2023 events are available on the Samhain agus Science playlist on our YouTube Channel
We look forward to developing the programme for Samhain agus Science 2024!
