The School of Theoretical Physics invites Leaving Certificate mathematics students to participate in the 2015 Calculus Course – taking place over ten weekends from 3rd October 2015.
The 2015 IQF meeting recently took place in the School of Theoretical Physics, DIAS from 27th to 29th May. There were 75 participants in total and more details can be found on the conference website.

The Royal Irish Academy Gold Medal for Science has been awarded to one of the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies professors of theoretical physics, Professor Werner Nahm.
A paper in the journal Science on 23 January 2015, carries news of three very high-energy objects that have just been discovered in our neighbouring galaxy, the Large Magellanic Cloud.
