The BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition is the final stage in a competition, which is open to all second level students from Ireland, both north and south. As well as the student projects on display, there are a further four exhibition halls filled with science and technology based exhibits and entertainment.
DIAS Geophysics Section will be in attendance to provide the seismological section of the GSI stand. The display presents local and global seismology work carried out by the Irish National Seismic Network (INSN) and includes an interactive “make your own earthquake” display for young students.
