The Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, the Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone, and stream BIRR invite suitably qualified people to apply for an IRC Enterprise Partnership Postdoctoral Fellowship.
We encourage candidates with a background in data science, astrophysics, space science or related fields and with an interest in building links between industry and academia to send us a 2-page CV and a short summary of their proposed data science project by 30 October 2021.
Candidates should send queries, CVs, and proposal outlines to Dr. Sophie Murray at DIAS (sophie.murray@dias.ie). Areas of particular interest include machine learning, data visualisation, and image and signal processing. We will run an internal selection process and then work closely with the chosen candidate to prepare a full application by the IRC deadline of 2 December 2021.
Further details on our activities can be found at streambirr.ie, dias.ie/astrophysics, and ait.ie/faculties/faculty-of-engineering-and-informatics.
