DIAS, an independent statutory
institute, pushes the boundaries of current understanding in its
fields, by enabling a researcher-led focus on fundamental research
and advanced study.
To enable researchers at the
early career stage flourish and fulfil their potential, DIAS is
currently offering four Fellowships, one in each of the following
areas: Solar Physics, Celtic Studies, Geophysics and Theoretical
Physics. These Fellowships offer a unique opportunity for talented
researchers to pursue research questions of interest to them, on a
full-time basis, in an institute with a track record and culture of
excellence, independent critical enquiry and innovative frontier
research.
Applications are invited from
candidates who have a PhD and a proven record as independent
researchers. Appointments will be on the basis of a fixed-term
contract up to five years.
