49th Young European Radio Astronomers Conference

26th - 29th August 2019

A conference hosted by the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, held at Trinity College Dublin and funded by RadioNet, to promote the work, and professional development, of young radio astronomers in Europe.

Registration

Registration is now closed (deadline was 10th May 2019 @ 17:00 UTC). Accommodation, breakfast and lunch will be paid for by DIAS with the support of RadioNet and no registration fee is necessary.

YERAC 2019 is limited to a total of 30 participants and both PhD students and early-career (within 5 years of graduating) researchers are encouraged to apply. DIAS operates under the principles of racial and gender equality and participants will be selected based upon their proposed abstract's scientific merit.

Please note that, as with previous years, a single, A4-page, letter of recommendation from your supervisor will be requested (deadline of 31st May 2019 @ 17:00 UTC) and should include:
  • Starting/finishing year of PhD
  • Topic of research
  • A summary of the candidate's previous experience
